The half-sand 'Marina'

After the unprecedented heavy rainfall that disrupted normal life across the state and specially Chennai looks very grimly with the deadly waterlogged, sloppy road, brown and murky water. Many had seen the poor urban people life went under water, echoing for basic amenities, struggling to relieve from the so-called man made tragedy. Which prevents people to wander into the streets.

                                       Scenes at Marina Beach

And to add more horrific scenario to the beaches and its surrounding, the Marina beach, which considered being the best thing about this city has now turned up into something scariest as the vast-sand is on partly covered with rainwater. After the heavy rains, the beach service road inundated and slowly progressing towards drain.

Though most of the proliferated eateries outlet had shuts down. The beach now less crowded than the normal during day, already some others resumed traditions as well. some scattered about, holding hands, while others went for the swings or the beach. But the only question remains, after three days rain, is it a case of criminal negligence?

As being next to sea if rain water does not drain....what to say about administrative apathy?
