Parrys Corner – Shopper’s Stop

Parrys Corner is one of the busiest place in Chennai which is a 15 minutes travel from the famous Marina beach. Parrys corner is a delightful sight for a first time visitor. Each streets are famous for the sale of a kind of product. Some are for film cds, some for textiles, some for cosmetics etc... Parry's is situated in close proximity to the Chennai port at the juncture of Beach road and NSC Bose road. The name Parry's is named after a foreigner called Thomas Parry who a Celtic man was doing wood furniture commercial business and set up the EID Parry company in the year of 1787.

Parry's corner is nowadays very busiest place where everything can be sold here. One corner of Parrys is fully filled with the shops that sells film cds. It even included the cds of latest release films including Bahubali both in Tamil as well as Telugu. They are selling the cds in a black cover which doesn’t have any information about the shop.  Nearest to Parry's corner is the Burma Bazaar where all genus of imported goods are sold here. There is a place called "George town" which is the whole sale area within itself has so many streets and Parryeach street is famous for one special type of things. Roving those streets one after the other continuously is a immense exposure to see a special part of life. We can which streets are famous for what items.
