As nowadays most of the Chennaites are heading uncertain of the season as it had been a mix-months of scorching heat in the daytime and hefty breeze in the nighttime. And for some people the summer has not even gone, well, true to this statement, a bunch of kids at Kalakeshtra colony, Besant Nagar, provide free juices to individuals and walkers who passing through the lane with the guidance of their parents.
In a bid to quenching the thirst of people. These kids are armed with glasses and juice bottles, greeting the passers with respect and relishing them by their noble service.
Their initiative started two months ago which still has its run that titled “Beat the heat”, a week-end based service (serves on every Saturday & Sunday) that aims to refresh the people in the summertime. And The flavors of juice that varies from Lemon, Water Melon, Pineapple to many more.
“These service also a chance for them to grow up in volunteering activities and connecting social sympathies within the community," says Lavanya, one of the kid’s parent.
By doing these kind of activities will greatly help children to grow up in volunteering and other social activities. We also thinking of provide it on daily basis, she adds.
